I hear nothing but silence as I lay here watching the time change slowly on the computer's clock, the minutes going up in an orderly, consecutive form; tomorrow is the day that marks another month. It is not 'yet' another month, I did not wish for it to come this fast. Caught me by surprise, even. Must have creeped up on me like a sly thief, robbing me of the days left. More to keep, as I call it, in my memory safe. In my head, it is a war zone. The battle of positive against negative, what do I feel? The former is in the lead. As little as it may be, it is not too late yet. Is it adrenaline that I feel? Or is it the frequently-occurring, queer sensation of melancholy, that lingers at the back of the most powerful organ that rests in the skull, that only I have access to? Melancholy - two contrasting feelings in collision - was a word that you liked, a feeling that I experienced which started with a larger portion of smiles and the sound of laughter, that will soon turn to tears, fade into nostalgia, but it will never leave my heart, for home is where the heart is, and this, home, I only feel when you are near. Oh bother, what would I do without you? Time may slow, like how seconds tick by as I stop to think, but it would never stop. If memories and feelings could be enclosed, a space the size of the ocean would hardly be enough to contain what lays in this heart. I am not trying to sound like an overly dramatic heartbroken author, but this frees my thoughts. Things you forbid, I would never heed to it. The stubborn me would make this body run towards the forbidden places, and cause what you would call my "eyes to spit". Ha, I already miss your nonsensical use of the English language. It's such a pain, isn't it, that change is inevitable, that time waits for no man. I was never one to abhor it - this never-ending cycle - but not this time. The tables turned for awhile as I was absorbed in my own mental warfare. But it does not matter, the latter would never win, as long as my name is Valerie.

Haha well so life has been sucky. Not too good to fall ill few weeks prior to O levels, but I am sick! Ah :( And prelim results sucked so yeah. Actually I've nothing much to update. Life has been kinda good despite everything, so yeah. Study hard all you O'level peeps!

My webcam sucks. HAHA. Had an after-stressful-and-depressing-result-taking school day, we had a Wii session at my place, in which I suck in like seriously. Oh yeah and well, I passed my history, surprisingly. I thought I would fail because I didn't study enough. And I passed me emath paper 1 with about 10 marks worth of careless mistakes. Depressing much? Well not gonna brood over it going to work hard for the last 29 days! And yeah.. 8 January 2011, please come slower :(

Hello, prelims are officially over after todays I-screwed-up-so-bad-I'd-be-best-at-screwing-up physics/chemistry practical. Well it's over. Results tomorrow. Well on a happier note, I went to service my old samsung phone and it's working now! So happy I tell you. Best phone ever.
I've been eating alot, sleeping alot, slacking alot, everything but studying. I think I have a problem, yes? About 30 days to O levels hahaha and what am I doing? Screwing myself up. Why why why why why.

I survived through 5 days of prelims. Well I can safely say I'm going to fail my combined science and additional mathematics because well, I simply didn't study. No confidence for combined humans either. The moment prelims started, all my study drives just evaporated like water in a desert. So oh well. Will try my best for the upcoming papers I guess. Ah, I'm still thinking whether I should grow my hair back. Hair can be such an annoying thing sometimes >:( In any case, I should be getting to sleep soon. Tomorrow's gonna be a hardcore mugging day, 9am to 5pm as planned. Gonna study really really hard from now, really. Less than 50 days to go 'till all these rubbish is over, and then I'll have a life.

This was at Wishbone that day with mummy. I know my face looks screwed, but I really love Wishbone like seriously. Their ice cream is still the best after all these years (NO LINK)!! Fav childhood restaurant #1 :) :) :)

Oh yes and so today I had to go to school for mock prelims (yes we have mock prelims doesn't it sound stupid?) science practical exam. I think it was ok. Ah well. Oh and during tuition just now I was really doing my work. I don't wanna fail emath already la cannot cannot or else I can just retake Os next year :( The nearer O level is, the more my drive dies out. SIAN x1000000
